About this role
Harbinger seeks a Quality Engineer to develop and implement quality management systems and processes for their commercial EV platform. You'll work cross-functionally to establish quality standards, conduct inspections, lead root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and suppliers.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement quality standards, control systems, and manufacturing processes
- Inspect and test materials, equipment, and products against quality specifications
- Conduct statistical investigations on quality problems and recommend solutions
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for product and supplier issues
- Participate in design reviews to mitigate manufacturing and assembly risks
- Lead MRB meetings and represent quality on engineering change control boards

- Quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949)
- APQP, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, and MSA
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Project management and cross-functional collaboration
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CQM, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt)
- Automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience
- Technical writing and communication
