About this role
Harbinger seeks a Vehicle Test Engineer to plan, execute, and analyze comprehensive testing activities for commercial electric vehicles. You'll develop test methodologies, instrument vehicles, conduct field testing, analyze performance data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and safety during vehicle development and launch.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for vehicle systems and components
- Select instrumentation, physically instrument vehicles, and ensure data quality and accuracy
- Conduct vehicle testing on test tracks, public roads, and controlled environments
- Analyze test data to identify performance issues and troubleshoot defects
- Document findings in Jira and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Maintain, calibrate testing equipment and contribute to new test methodologies
