About this role

SpaceX seeks an Application Software Engineer to develop mission-critical software powering launch vehicle production, Starship manufacturing systems, and Starlink satellite operations. You'll own full-stack challenges across platforms handling real-time data streams, factory automation, and customer-facing services while collaborating with teams across the company.

What you'll do

  • Develop reliable, mission-critical software solutions used across SpaceX operations
  • Create new applications that improve manufacturing and flight operations efficiency
  • Build prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
  • Take ownership of the full software engineering lifecycle from design to deployment
  • Analyze user problems deeply to design and deliver efficient solutions
  • Participate in architectural discussions, design reviews, and code reviews with the team
