Software Engineer, Home Design Experience
About this role
Higharc is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical design and delivery of a browser-based 3D home design application. You'll architect and build the core experience, work with AI-supported features, and partner with product and platform teams to ship customer-ready software.
What you'll do
- Design and build interactive 3D home design workflows connecting UI, data, and real-time rendering into responsive experiences
- Own application architecture and technical delivery from prototypes through production, making decisions on frontend, state management, and service integration
- Rapidly prototype and validate new design workflows, turning validated concepts into production-ready features
- Develop AI-supported and agentic interactions to help users design homes intuitively
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers through pairing, code review, and technical leadership
- Collaborate with platform team to establish shared patterns and foundations for reuse across Higharc applications
