Hunter Douglas seeks an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, plant layouts, and workflows at their Salt Lake City facility. You'll ensure safe, efficient operations while managing cycle times, headcount planning, and new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

  • Conduct weekly safety walks and implement countermeasures for IE risks and ergonomic issues
  • Develop and implement optimal plant and process layouts, flows, and packaging designs
  • Measure, define, and audit cycle times monthly; determine required headcount based on forecasted volume
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams on IE studies, analyses, and new product launch support
  • Perform ergonomic analyses and develop standard work procedures for all plant operations
  • Support capacity studies, performance validation (LV1/LV2), and special projects as needed

Benefits
