About this role
Join iCapital as an Actuarial Software Engineer II to build the calculation engine powering insurance illustration and sales platforms. You'll translate complex actuarial formulas and business rules into high-performance C#/.NET solutions, working across distributed India–US teams to deliver accurate, scalable insurance software.
What you'll do
- Design and develop business calculation engines and APIs using C# and .NET for insurance platforms
- Convert business requirements, product specs, and spreadsheet models into maintainable software solutions
- Ensure calculation accuracy, performance, auditability, and alignment with product requirements
- Write comprehensive unit tests and support automated testing for calculation integrity
- Debug and resolve complex business logic and application issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Create technical documentation and provide effort estimates with ownership through deployment
