About this role
impact.com seeks an Associate QA Engineer in Santa Barbara to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for a leading commerce partnership marketing platform. You'll collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure high-quality features across experiences used by hundreds of thousands globally, while participating in a global team that shares industry best practices.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with business and technical priorities
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and define acceptance criteria
- Create, execute, and document test scenarios, meticulously recording findings and progress
- Identify, document, and track bugs with detailed analysis, working with developers toward resolution
- Participate in bug triage and release readiness reviews to ensure confident deployments
- Maintain test plan documentation including test cases, schedules, and progress reports
