About this role

Develop and maintain ECOSphere, a critical USFWS application, by designing new features, managing integrations across multiple systems, and ensuring security and performance. You'll work on a full-stack platform spanning backend services (Java, Spring Boot, Grails), frontend frameworks (Angular, React), cloud infrastructure (AWS), and AI enhancements while supporting federal compliance standards.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and implement new features and integrations across ECOSphere and connected USFWS applications
  • Perform technology upgrades (Angular, Spring Boot, React) and refactor legacy systems for security and performance
  • Maintain AWS environments, implement FISMA compliance, and manage DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance optimization
  • Create automated tests (unit, integration) and database datasets for SSRS and QuickSight reporting
  • Develop AI tools to enhance user experience and gather user feedback for product improvements
