About this role

Interplay seeks a Junior Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with internal business teams and rapidly build AI-powered tools and integrations that solve real operational problems. You'll work in a hybrid setup (2–3 days/week in NYC), shipping quickly across full-stack development while translating ambiguous stakeholder needs into working software.

What you'll do

  • Embed with business line teams to understand workflows and gather requirements directly
  • Rapidly prototype and ship internal tools, integrations, and LLM-powered features
  • Write production code across frontend, backend, and APIs
  • Translate real-world problems into scoped technical solutions with stakeholders
  • Demo early, collect feedback in person, and iterate quickly
  • Document and hand off solutions as business needs stabilize
