About this role
Kairos Power seeks a Systems Engineer to develop and integrate advanced nuclear energy systems using disciplined systems engineering methods. You will translate program objectives into verified technical requirements, maintain system architectures, coordinate cross-functional reviews, and support the engineering lifecycle for fluoride-salt-cooled reactor technology.
What you'll do
- Develop, allocate, maintain, and trace technical requirements across product and plant architecture levels
- Translate program objectives and stakeholder needs into clear, verifiable requirements considering regulatory factors
- Perform functional analysis and decomposition to establish traceability between functions, requirements, and verification
- Develop and maintain functional, logical, and physical system architectures
- Define, document, and manage internal and external interfaces between systems, suppliers, and partners
- Develop verification strategies, methods, and acceptance criteria to demonstrate requirement satisfaction
