About this role
Kapitus seeks an AWS Software Engineer II to design and build serverless microservices solutions that optimize business operations. You'll work in an Agile team, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-impact cloud-based systems.
What you'll do
- Design and document technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop microservices using AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Event Bridge)
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Build and maintain system reliability, performance, and security standards
- Support legacy systems while architecting next-generation solutions
- Partner with business stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor
