About this role

Kodiak Robotics seeks an experienced Hardware Quality Industrialization Engineer to establish and lead the quality function for their autonomous vehicle manufacturing operations. As a founding team member, you'll develop data-driven quality processes, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvements across hardware production.

What you'll do

  • Build repeatable quality processes collaborating with engineering, supply chain, operations, and external manufacturing partners
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure compliance with Kodiak standards and quality controls
  • Analyze field returns and drive root cause analysis to identify design improvements
  • Own corrective actions and quality improvements across manufacturing partners
  • Establish test parameters, pass/fail criteria, and overall test strategy with internal teams
  • Manage compliance and certification requirements for external suppliers
