About this role

Kodiak Robotics seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop and maintain automated test software for autonomous vehicle components and subsystems. You'll transition validation prototypes into production-grade test platforms, integrate with manufacturing systems, and collaborate across teams to ensure robust quality assurance.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing test software for PCBAs, sensors, and vehicle subsystems using Python/C#
  • Transition engineering test prototypes into production-grade, scalable test platforms
  • Integrate test solutions with MES, PLM, and traceability systems
  • Optimize database operations for test data storage, queries, and manufacturing dashboards
  • Manage test code repositories and version control using GitHub
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Embedded, Integration, and IT teams on test coverage and secure deployment

  • Python and C# for production and automation
  • Manufacturing test execution platforms (ATEasy, NI TestStand, Keysight Test Exec)
  • Communication protocols (I2C, UART, USB, UDS, CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Database management and query optimization (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Lab equipment operation (DMMs, oscilloscopes, DAQs, power supplies)
  • Electrical and mechanical schematic interpretation
  • Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) and Windows operating systems
  • AWS infrastructure services
