About this role

Kodiak Robotics seeks a Software Engineer to design and maintain visualization tools for autonomous vehicle development. You'll build intuitive 2D/3D interfaces using React and Three.js that transform complex sensor data into actionable insights for internal engineering teams.

What you'll do

  • Develop and optimize 2D and 3D visualization tools for AV sensor data using ReactJS, TypeScript, and Three.js
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to understand workflows and translate feedback into features
  • Build robust backend services and APIs connecting raw robotics data to the UI layer
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and scale visualization capabilities as fleet grows
  • Maintain code quality, documentation, and infrastructure standards
  • Champion intuitive interface design that makes complex AV perception and planning data accessible
