About this role

Lambda seeks a Data Center Operations Engineer to manage hardware infrastructure deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting at their Austin data center facility. You'll handle server/storage/network installation, inventory management, and coordinate with supply chain and support teams to ensure smooth large-scale infrastructure operations.

What you'll do

  • Rack, cable, label, and configure new server, storage, and network hardware
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in advanced data center systems
  • Document data center topology and infrastructure in DCIM software
  • Manage parts depot inventory and track equipment through deployment lifecycle
  • Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing teams on large-scale deployments
  • Collaborate with hardware support and RMA teams to resolve infrastructure tickets
