About this role
LangChain seeks a Deployed Engineer to work directly with U.S. federal customers—DoD, civilian agencies, and intelligence community—designing and operating production AI agents in secure, mission-critical environments. This hands-on role bridges engineering, security, and go-to-market, spanning pre-sales technical shaping through post-deployment advisory in classified and unclassified settings.
What you'll do
- Co-architect and build production AI agents with federal engineering teams and system integrators
- Own technical wins in federal pre-sales by designing secure POCs and supporting RFI/RFP responses
- Design architectures meeting federal security and compliance requirements (FedRAMP, DoD IL2–IL6, NIST)
- Deploy and operate agent applications for mission support, intelligence analysis, and operational workflows
- Provide post-award advisory on architecture, scalability, observability, and evaluation decisions
- Deliver technical demos, workshops, and enablement sessions for government audiences
