About this role

Lasko Products seeks a Project Engineer I to lead electromechanical product development initiatives, managing the full lifecycle from technical specifications through prototype testing and design reviews. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and Asian OEMs to deliver innovative home comfort solutions on schedule and within cost targets.

What you'll do

  • Define technical product specifications aligned with consumer needs, including component selection and feasibility modeling
  • Design and execute testing methods to validate system and component capabilities
  • Develop electromechanical products applying mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and electronics principles
  • Partner with OEM suppliers in Asia to finalize designs and qualify manufacturing processes
  • Lead design reviews, competitive assessments, and minor engineering projects including BOM development and change orders
  • Manage project scope, timeline, budget, quality, resources, communications, risk, and stakeholder expectations
