About this role

Turion Space seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop a flight software testing framework and procedures for spacecraft systems. You'll create automated tests for HITL/SITL environments, collaborate with developers and operators, and establish testing best practices to ensure mission-critical software quality.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for spacecraft software in HITL and SITL environments
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts aligned with software requirements and specifications
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards
  • Build comprehensive test documentation including plans, cases, and reports with full traceability
  • Develop deep understanding of avionics and flight software architecture as an integrated system
  • Establish and implement new testing standards, processes, and industry best practices
