NPI Engineer

About this role

Figure, an AI robotics company developing humanoid robots, seeks an NPI Engineer to lead prototype and pilot production builds in San Jose. This role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing materials and schedules, and driving issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Manage Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) accuracy and component availability
• Coordinate change impact analysis and track Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
• Oversee prototype builds and act as primary DRI for build coordination
• Create and maintain production schedules aligned with company deadlines
• Document and track all build issues from component failures to process inefficiencies
• Drive issue resolution and ensure root cause analysis completion
