About this role
Lexington Medical seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and support embedded electrical systems for minimally invasive surgical stapling devices in Bedford, MA. You'll work cross-functionally on high-reliability medical devices, handling schematic capture, PCB design, mixed-signal circuits, and hardware-software integration in a regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop embedded electrical subsystems for electromechanical surgical devices
- Support schematic capture, PCB design (rigid, flex, rigid-flex), and component selection
- Work on mixed-signal, microcontroller-based designs including power management and sensing circuits
- Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, bench testing, and system-level integration
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers on hardware-software integration
- Execute electrical verification, validation activities, and test documentation
