About this role
LG Electronics seeks a Product Development Engineer II to join its HVAC R&D Center in Alpharetta, Georgia, where you'll develop and improve HVAC products through research, testing, and data analysis. You'll collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to bring innovative cooling solutions to market while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Provide engineering insights and improvement solutions for new HVAC product development
- Analyze and evaluate HVAC product performance with statistical methods and field-test data
- Identify design weaknesses and recommend improvements to current products
- Support R&D and factory labs with US-based engineering and design statistics
- Develop data acquisition models and handle acquisition hardware/software for lab testing
- Prepare service, installation, and engineering manuals for US commercialization
