About this role
LG Electronics Vehicle Solutions is seeking a Validation Engineer I to test and validate infotainment products for automotive applications in Troy, MI. You'll execute test cases, analyze results against specifications, manage defects, and support field testing and OEM collaboration across North America and international regions.
What you'll do
- Execute validation testing for infotainment products using test benches and vehicles, including sanity checks and full test suites
- Create and maintain test cases aligned with product specifications and customer requirements
- Analyze test results to verify product compliance with specifications and document findings
- Report and track product defects using tracking systems and coordinate resolution efforts
- Conduct field testing and joint OEM testing activities; provide onsite support at customer locations
- Communicate technical issues with R&D teams across North America and international regions to resolve problems
