About this role

Support the deployment and day-to-day operation of Lila's production robot fleet at their Cambridge, MA lab facility. Monitor live robot operations, perform hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve uptime and reduce downtime.

What you'll do

  • Monitor robot behavior during live production operations and intervene safely when needed
  • Troubleshoot and document logs, sensor output, video, and reproduction steps for incident escalation
  • Perform minor robot maintenance including cabling, sensor swaps, fasteners, and component replacement
  • Execute robot swap procedures and validate spare units for production readiness
  • Maintain accurate records of robot health, incidents, maintenance actions, and fleet status
  • Identify failure patterns and recommend improvements to reduce downtime

  • Robotics fundamentals (kinematics, sensors, actuators, control systems)
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Clear written communication and documentation
  • Quick decision-making under pressure in live environments

  • Nav2 or Behavior Trees (bonus)
