Loenbro is seeking a Coatings Project Engineer to manage industrial coating projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a blend of project management expertise and technical understanding of protective coatings, surface preparation, and corrosion control, with a focus on maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards. You'll serve as a key technical contact for clients and stakeholders, contributing to business development efforts.
What you'll do
- Manage coating projects through all phases, including scope definition, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Evaluate coating requirements based on project specifications and environmental conditions.
- Ensure project compliance with SSPC, NACE/AMPP, ASTM, and ISO standards.
- Provide technical support during coating application and inspection.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety standards.
- Communicate project status to clients and stakeholders.
