Mining Project Engineer

About this role

This Project Engineer role serves as a vital technical resource for the Project Manager, meticulously documenting project progress and ensuring accuracy in all data. The individual will manage documents, track measurements, oversee quality verification, and support cost and procurement activities—essentially creating the record upon which the company is paid. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate across various stakeholders both in the office and at the field site.

What you'll do

• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Maintain accurate drawing and specification control.
• Establish and maintain survey, line, and grade control.
• Verify installed work against design specifications.
• Measure and log installed quantities for accurate billing and change order pricing.
• Perform and document in-progress quality inspections.
