About this role

Loft Orbital is seeking a founding software engineer to build the core marketplace platform for space-based AI applications. You'll work closely with leadership to scale the platform from MVP, owning features end-to-end on a small, fast-moving team.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop marketplace platform features for publishing and deploying AI solutions on satellites
  • Own features end-to-end from conception through production deployment
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketplace on product strategy and roadmap
  • Establish foundational architecture and best practices for core services
  • Ship features and improvements on a weekly cadence
  • Support partner integration and onboarding to the marketplace
