About this role
Lucid seeks an Automation Engineer I for their Phoenix manufacturing facility to optimize powertrain production control systems and ensure throughput, safety, and quality standards. You'll collaborate on line layouts, work with diverse automation equipment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment.
What you'll do
- Ensure control systems meet throughput, safety, and quality requirements for powertrain production
- Optimize powertrain line layouts in collaboration with layout engineering teams
- Design and develop continuous improvement projects aligned with company needs
- Work with equipment including robotics, vision systems, material handling, and welding systems
- Manage equipment I/O interfaces and machine coding logic
- Support production troubleshooting and equipment optimization
