About this role
Lucid is hiring a Simulation and Development Engineer for their Body Controls team in Phoenix to develop and test embedded software for vehicle features like access, windows, lighting, and seating. You'll create unit tests, design test harnesses in Simulink, and develop control systems across multiple ECUs and vehicle platforms using model-based development practices.
What you'll do
- Develop unit tests based on requirements for model-based software components
- Create test harnesses in Simulink Test and design positive/negative test cases
- Develop control systems for vehicle body control features
- Support embedded software development across multiple ECUs and platforms
- Collaborate on vehicle integration and new hardware bring-up
- Provide production support and diagnostics for body electronics features
