About this role

Lucid is seeking a Software Engineer to design and operate scalable data pipelines and backend services that process large-scale sensor data from autonomous vehicles. You'll work across the full lifecycle from development to production, enabling vehicle teams to access critical camera, LiDAR, and telemetry datasets for autonomous vehicle development.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain backend services and data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and serving sensor datasets
  • Develop reliable, scalable systems using Python and AWS cloud services
  • Build APIs and data services that enable efficient access to autonomous vehicle data
  • Own production services and drive incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Optimize storage, compute, and data movement costs while maintaining performance and availability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand requirements and deliver solutions
