About this role
Lucid seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage exterior component supplier quality at their Casa Grande manufacturing facility. You'll lead containment of supplier issues, drive corrective actions using structured problem-solving, and support APQP/PPAP activities while reducing defects and production disruptions.
What you'll do
- Lead containment and resolution of supplier quality issues affecting production
- Manage corrective action processes through closure using root cause analysis and 8D methodology
- Support APQP execution by reviewing PFMEAs, control plans, and PPAP documentation
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and analyze defect trends to prevent recurrence
- Coordinate cross-functional investigations with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Materials teams
- Participate in supplier audits and process assessments to ensure compliance
