About this role

Lucid Motors seeks a System Validation Engineer to validate next-generation electric vehicle access control systems, including Digital Key, NFC, BLE, OTA updates, and passive entry features across vehicle, mobile, and cloud platforms. The role combines hands-on testing, defect analysis, and test automation to ensure secure, seamless customer experiences.

What you'll do

  • Perform system and vehicle-level validation of Digital Key, NFC, BLE, diagnostics, OTA, and passive entry features
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for access control functionality
  • Lead defect triage, debugging, and root cause analysis across hardware, software, mobile apps, and cloud services
  • Validate UDS diagnostics services (ISO 14229), DTC behavior, and ECU communication
  • Analyze NFC, BLE, CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet communication logs to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and regression tests using Python and CAPL
