Lumos seeks a full-time IT Jr. Engineer – Support Technician to provide technical support across multiple locations, handling PC/printer/phone issues, managing user accounts, and offering Tier 2 guidance to the Helpdesk team. This role includes on-site and remote troubleshooting, equipment installation, rotating on-call duties, and mentoring, supporting operations for a rapidly growing fiber optic network company.

What you'll do

  • Resolve technical tickets and provide on-site/remote support for PCs, printers, phones, and peripherals across all locations
  • Build, rebuild, and configure PCs; install hardware/software and test equipment compatibility
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, access rights, and enforce security policies
  • Deliver equipment to remote locations and coordinate with repair vendors and manufacturers
  • Provide Tier 2 guidance to PC Technicians and assist with complex problem resolution
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule to address after-hours critical issues
