Associate Product Design Engineer
About this role
Mammoth Brands seeks an Associate Product Design Engineer to join the Hard Products team, contributing to mechanical design and development of razors, handles, and accessories. You'll work on CAD modeling, engineering analysis, prototyping, and testing while building expertise in consumer product development alongside experienced engineers.
What you'll do
- Create 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for product components and assemblies under senior engineer guidance
- Apply engineering analysis methods including tolerance analysis, FEA, and DFMEA to validate designs
- Support prototype development and execution of engineering tests to verify performance requirements
- Collaborate with Industrial Design, Program Management, Quality, and Reliability Engineering teams
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation including specifications and design rationale
- Learn manufacturing processes, materials science, and product development best practices through hands-on work
