About this role
Matter Intelligence is seeking an Early Career Systems Engineer to contribute to the architecture, design, and testing of airborne and space-borne remote-sensing systems. This role provides hands-on experience across hardware and software development, emphasizing learning by doing and developing strong systems engineering judgment. You'll collaborate with various experts to translate mission needs into robust, verifiable systems and gain valuable exposure to the end-to-end technical lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Translate mission needs into system architectures and technical requirements.
- Support integration and test activities, including anomaly investigation and resolution.
- Define and document internal and external interfaces across different engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to the system verification and validation approach.
- Perform system analyses and evaluate design changes across the full system.
- Prepare technical documentation for design reviews and other forums.
