Senior Platform Engineer role supporting Maven's Chicago trading operations, managing 22 Kubernetes clusters across three continents and enabling 44 teams to deploy independently. You'll bridge the gap between infrastructure and traders/developers, designing self-service platforms while handling production incidents during US hours and coordinating across timezones.

What you'll do

  • Understand Chicago teams' needs and translate them into platform requirements and self-service capabilities
  • Design and operate hosted developer environments (Coder) and safe deployment paths for application teams
  • Evaluate platform requests and recommend solutions or push back when approaches are suboptimal
  • Provide on-call support for production incidents during US business hours across multiple Kubernetes clusters
  • Collaborate with London and Asia platform teams to maintain unified standards and avoid regional forks
  • Partner with Chicago infrastructure, Linux, networking, and storage teams on cross-stack issues
