About this role
SingleStore seeks new graduate software engineers to join collaborative teams building a cloud-native distributed SQL database. You'll own projects end-to-end, working on performance optimization, fault tolerance, query optimization, and emerging technologies like LLMs and vector indexing while growing alongside experienced mentors.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain software components for SingleStore's distributed SQL database platform
- Own projects from conception through production deployment with each release cycle
- Optimize SQL query performance using techniques like SIMD and LLVM code generation
- Improve cluster fault tolerance and system reliability
- Write, test, and debug code across the product lifecycle
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to understand business impact
