What you'll do

  • Train, integrate, and test machine learning models for on-vehicle autonomy software
  • Optimize and monitor on-vehicle software for reliability and minimal latency
  • Execute on-vehicle tests to validate autonomous vehicle software performance in real-world scenarios
  • Diagnose and root-cause operational issues using the May Field Response process
  • Design and oversee data collection strategies to improve ML model performance
  • Develop tools and visualizations for analyzing behavior and control subsystem performance from field data

  • C/C++ and Python programming in Linux environments
  • Machine learning model concepts including training and architecture
  • Lidar, camera, and radar perception systems
  • Software fundamentals: memory management, threading, databases, networking
