About this role
MEMX seeks a Network Engineer for overnight shift (12 AM–9 AM ET) to design, implement, and maintain a low-latency trading exchange network. You'll automate infrastructure with Ansible and Python, respond to incidents, and support customer connections across multiple US states.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and support low-latency exchange network infrastructure
- Configure network devices using Ansible and Python automation
- Monitor and respond to network alerts, errors, and incidents with root cause analysis
- Execute new customer connection turn-ups and provisioning
- Handle customer support tickets for IP prefix modifications and network changes
- Perform network maintenance and troubleshooting during second shift operations
