About this role

Mirage is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and operate core systems powering an AI-native video platform. You'll work across product, platform, and ML infrastructure, building scalable APIs, data pipelines, and production systems that integrate large generative models while collaborating closely with product and AI teams.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and own backend systems end-to-end including services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure
  • Solve complex technical challenges in distributed systems, scaling, concurrency, and performance
  • Integrate and operate large generative AI models in production environments
  • Instrument, experiment, and iterate in production to improve system and product quality
  • Design and operate core platform infrastructure including third-party integrations and security
  • Partner with product, design, client, and AI teams to turn ideas into reliable production systems
