Marketing Systems Engineer
About this role
Mixpanel is seeking a Marketing Systems Engineer to own the technical infrastructure powering their marketing website and GTM integrations. You'll be the sole engineer on this surface, responsible for lead capture systems, CRM integrations, site reliability, and the technical roadmap connecting marketing to Salesforce, Customer.io, and adjacent tools.
What you'll do
- Own technical health of marketing website including page speed, WCAG compliance, Google Tag Manager, technical SEO, and third-party integrations (Qualified, Optimizely, TrustArc)
- Design and maintain integrations between marketing website and GTM stack to ensure reliable data flow from lead capture to CRM
- Build and maintain front-end form submission system including UI, field configuration, and validation across all form types
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and reliability improvements for lead capture flow to surface failures proactively
- Own front-end implementation in Framer, partnering with design on component structure and custom interactions
- Define technical roadmap, identify high-impact work, sequence against marketing priorities, and document alignment before building

- Full-stack engineering with 2+ years production system ownership
- JavaScript and Python (strong in JS, productive in Python)
- HTML and CSS for marketing website context
- Webhook-based integrations and data pipeline design and debugging
- B2B marketing stack tools (CRMs, marketing automation, Google Tag Manager, A/B testing)
- Framer or component-based visual web CMS
- Reverse ETL or data sync platforms (Hightouch, Census, or similar)
- Clear communication of technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
