About this role
Modal seeks a Documentation Engineer to establish and maintain high-quality technical docs for its AI infrastructure platform. You'll shape documentation architecture, create innovative content formats optimized for AI agents, and enforce quality standards across the growing product suite.
What you'll do
- Design and evolve documentation architecture as Modal launches new products and features
- Create novel documentation formats and delivery channels to improve agent productivity
- Develop content standards, style guides, and automated enforcement tools
- Build automated pipelines to validate code examples and documentation accuracy
- Partner with engineers company-wide to author clear, consistent, and correct documentation
