About this role

MongoDB is hiring a Software Engineer 3 to build and secure MongoDB Atlas, a multi-cloud database platform. You'll develop backend systems for cloud integrations, lead feature launches, and work on security, networking, and encryption systems serving enterprise customers.

What you'll do

  • Design and build new features for MongoDB Atlas across AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Lead complex technical projects from conception through production maintenance
  • Collaborate with product, design, and support teams to solve customer issues
  • Develop large-scale distributed backend systems and full-stack components
  • Mentor team members and establish best practices and design principles
  • Participate in on-call rotation supporting production services
