About this role

MongoDB is hiring a Software Engineer 3 to build and maintain MongoDB Atlas, a database-as-a-service platform. You'll design features for the Atlas Clusters Platform team, lead technical projects, and collaborate across the full stack while working hybrid from New York City.

What you'll do

  • Design and build new features for MongoDB Atlas distributed database platform
  • Lead complex technical projects from conception through production launch
  • Partner with product, design, and support teams to solve customer issues
  • Develop large-scale backend systems and contribute to modern web application stacks
  • Mentor teammates and establish coding best practices and design principles
  • Maintain and evolve production systems across multiple cloud environments
