About this role

Muon Space seeks an Operations and Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions for satellite fleet monitoring, maintenance, and operational execution. You will troubleshoot anomalies, analyze telemetry data, coordinate maneuvers, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure optimal satellite performance and mission continuity.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement automation solutions for spacecraft and ground station operations to support multiple simultaneous missions
  • Execute satellite operation procedures, troubleshoot anomalies, and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze telemetry data and satellite health reports to identify issues and implement preventive measures
  • Plan and coordinate satellite maneuvers including orbit corrections and station-keeping operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on satellite operations and fleet integration
  • Support new satellite integration from launch through operational phase
