About this role
n8n seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed on-site with enterprise customers, design and build production-grade automation workflows, and translate customer needs into scalable solutions. You'll drive 5-day deployment engagements, extend integration capabilities, and feed learnings back to Product to shape the platform.
What you'll do
- Embed on-site with enterprise customers for focused 5-day deployment engagements to deliver production-ready workflows
- Design and build custom workflows, integrations, and nodes tailored to customer environments and scalable use cases
- Extend existing n8n nodes or create missing functionality to unlock high-value enterprise automation opportunities
- Partner with Deployment Strategists and Product to align technical solutions with customer priorities and adoption goals
- Identify bespoke requirements that should become reusable product features and document gaps for the engineering team
- Contribute workflows, custom nodes, and integration patterns to an internal playbook library for faster future engagements
