About this role
NerdWallet is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Security organization and leverage AI and automation to enhance security workflows and developer tooling. This role involves designing and building AI-powered systems, improving software quality, and shaping the team's AI/automation practices. You'll contribute to meaningful projects from problem definition through production, impacting how security integrates with engineering workflows.
What you'll do
- Design and build AI-enabled workflows for security processes.
- Develop production Python services and APIs powering AI workflows.
- Create automated code review capabilities for identifying insecure patterns.
- Build and operate scalable pipelines for data ingestion and retrieval.
- Integrate security guidance into engineering workflows (GitHub, Slack, Jira).
- Define, evaluate, and improve the quality of AI-enabled systems.
