Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security
About this role
Notion is seeking an Infrastructure Security Software Engineer (IC4) to design and implement secure-by-default systems across their platform. You'll own end-to-end infrastructure security initiatives—from threat modeling and control design to shipping scalable secure defaults—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen Notion's AWS environment and security posture.
What you'll do
- Enhance security posture of AWS accounts and cloud infrastructure proactively
- Design and implement secrets management and authentication/authorization frameworks
- Build robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions at scale
- Provide security and privacy guidance to engineering teams across the organization
- Lead incident response mitigation strategies and security investigations
- Ship production-grade secure systems and improve architectural components
