About this role
Numeral seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge customer success and product engineering, spending roughly equal time supporting enterprise implementations and building scalable software features for an AI-native tax compliance platform.
What you'll do
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success on technical implementations, onboarding, and customer issue resolution
- Debug and resolve customer issues across APIs, integrations, and production systems
- Design and build product features, internal tooling, and automation workflows
- Own engineering projects end-to-end from requirements gathering through deployment
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows and translate feedback into product improvements
- Enhance APIs, integrations, developer experience, and operational tooling
