CAD Tech Engineer
About this role
OBE seeks a CAD Tech Engineer to create detailed 2D/3D drawings supporting product design and development for architectural glass and building products. You'll work with the design engineering team to produce extrusion, assembly, fabrication, and glazing drawings while collaborating across manufacturing and engineering departments.
What you'll do
- Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings for new or existing product designs within project deadlines
- Detail extrusions, components, hardware, and fabrication drawings
- Produce glass, glazing, assembly, and process instruction drawings
- Maintain effective working relationships with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams
- Learn design, production, application engineering, and manufacturing processes
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload independently
