About this role

Olsson's Facilities Engineering and Design team seeks a Licensed Structural Engineer to design and evaluate building projects across commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial sectors in Nebraska. You'll perform structural analysis, prepare construction documents, coordinate with other disciplines, and manage client relationships for diverse, high-impact projects.

What you'll do

  • Perform structural design calculations and analysis across various project types and materials
  • Prepare design drawings and project specifications for construction
  • Coordinate structural design with architectural and engineering disciplines
  • Conduct site observations and attend client meetings to monitor project progress
  • Supervise and mentor less experienced staff members on technical aspects
  • Maintain project schedules and communicate progress with project managers and clients
